WHAT THE MANALISTS DONT UNDERSTAND IN 1 CORINTHIANS 8:6

 They use this verse to prove that the Father is only the True God and Jesus is not God.

"yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live."

 
REFUTATION:

1) If you will check the word ONE in One God the Father in English, The Greek used is EIS or United One and not Monos or Absolute Numeric One.

The Hebrew of it is Echad and you'll read it in Genesis 2:24 the word there
 

 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

If a man is co united with his spouse who is a fellow human, God also is co united with the same nature.

God is co united with Christ in John 17:11, 22

 

2) It is true that it is from the Father that all things came but look carefully in verse 6

“and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.”

It says there that whom all things.

meaning BY HIM the world was created.

Hebrews 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 

You know the reason why? It is because Christ is the one who is doing the works of his Father.

John 5:17  But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

3) Notice in verse 6 where it says that Christ is one Lord.

Christ is Lord in capital L.

In the Bible, what is Lord in capital L?

Joshua 22:34 The children of Reuben and the children of Gad^[a] called the altar, Witness, “For it is a witness between us that the Lord is God.”

Christ is the Prince of Life or Creator in Acts 3:13-15 the reason he is Lord

Conclusion: 1 Corinthians 8:6 if carefully observe also prove that Christ has the characteristics of being God like his Father.
